Blueprint for a better S.A
Our policies are built on freedom, responsibility and common sense. We focus on what works, lower taxes, less waste, more choice and real, substantive opportunities for every citizen.
Reduce the size and cost of government by closing unnecessary departments and boards, privatizing state-owned enterprises, selling unused state assets, and reducing public debt. Cut taxes on individuals and businesses, reward saving and hard work, and eliminate unnecessary regulation.
Make South Africa an attractive place to invest, create businesses, and employ people by reducing red tape and restrictive labour laws. Encourage homeownership, employee share ownership, private education, clean-energy investment, and the return of skilled South Africans from abroad.
Replace the current healthcare model with a universal Health Insurance Fund providing every citizen with comprehensive medical cover, while using private-sector administration and hospital management. Reform the Road Accident Fund, improve municipal financial management through graduate community service, and expand private and online education.
Restore the rule of law and respect individual human rights while creating a more efficient and professional security system. Strengthen accountability, tackle corruption and state capture, reform policing and defence, and establish a system where grants encourage education and participation while immigration is subject to clear requirements.
